After all it’s just an Interview!

Yeah it’s time to switch off cricket for some time. Last few blogs would have irritated anti-cricket fans little bit. I learnt that more of anything is good for nothing. So this time, I have tried to list up the points to be considered while going through the interview process for the first time in campus.
·         Don't create hype for placements and companies. Wherever you go, you will be appreciated for your good skill and attitude.
·         Be strong in your aptitude so that you can clear the first round of most of the companies.
·         If you belong to IT department, recruiters will expect a grade above the other department students. So have clarity in basic coding stuffs.
·         When you are waiting for your turn in personal interview, keep calm and believe you can.
·         Treat HR's as normal humans and behave in your natural manner. Don't act too polite.
·         Keep smiling. This will create a positive impact about you to the person sitting before you.
·         If the HR asks you to come up with some questions, shoot some unique and interesting questions to him/her.
·         Have a unique and interesting hobby in your resume. Collect the possible information regarding that hobby. Even though you don't have any hobbies, add few unique things. You can't be brutally honest in this case.
·         Make HR listen to your words. Keep it simple and clear.

And finally don't think any interview as success or failure. If you clear you have numerous rounds to clear before your job gets confirmed in that company. Even if you don't clear, you have thousands of companies waiting to accept you and appreciate your skill.

All you have to do is search for the one which suits you. Or maybe you are the one who is going to employ others in your own company after some years of practical experience.

All the very best! Be vibrant! Be you!

Spread love,
Barathiraja
